This morning I was so encouraged by Psalm 62:1-2
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will never be shaken
There is a "rest" in God, that we all need, which we won't find anywhere else. Psalm 23 speaks about lying down in green pastures, about being led beside quiet waters and having our soul restored, as we follow our Loving Shepherd.
Jesus Himself says, that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light, and He promises, that when we come to Him, He will give us Rest (Matt 11:28-30)
Is your soul weary today? Find your rest in God. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.
