Encouragement to keep going!

Flying Eagle over a lake and mountains

There is this one thing that always stuck with me from a preach about Psalm 23, way back when I just got saved. The pastor was talking about the part of “walking through the valley of the shadow of death.” Suddenly he paused and declared:
“That’s the thing, right there. You walk through. Don’t set up camp in the valley! Just keep going, and before you know it you will be on the other side.”

Through the years when tough times came, I have always thought back to that piece of advice. Don’t set up camp. Just keep walking.

This morning I was reading Isaiah 40:31 and I saw it again!
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
This promise is not about sitting still, or lying down because the road was too tough, it’s about keeping on.

Keep hoping, keep walking, keep running, and as you do, you will find strength from the Lord as you go.

So, whatever you are facing at this moment. Be encouraged. Keep going. Keep trusting. The end of the season might just be around the next corner! ?
